August Chalk-A-Bration
I can't believe it's the last day of August! I can't think of a better way to celebrate back-to-school September than with a Chalk-A-Bration!
Head on over to Teaching Young Writers hosted by the fabulous Betsy for more chalk talk.
Robin, this is a perfect poem for capturing the joy of each season. I love the alliteration and my favorite image was the spring's sun-rain fight. I love the way you used the colors too!
Oh yes, summer does fade into fall. Love that image. So glad you could join today, thanks for chalking!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors, and the movement through the seasons, Robin. The rhymes are "might-y" good!
ReplyDeleteI like the colors and the switch from season to season also and then the circular return to summer.
