Day 6: My Loves

Laundry
Dishes
Dusting
Sink cleaning
Trash removing
Dinner making
Bill paying

All things that never end

Homework
Legos
Video games
Shopkins
Dolls
Curious George books
Mom, will you help me?

All things that will end too soon

I think today I'll ignore the things that won't go away
and pour my time into the things that matter most
the little ones that grow up too fast
and we will make the cookies
play with the toys

read the books
play the games
and enjoy

my loves
today

  1. Laundry...my least favorite chore. I wish it would do itself! Thanks for the reminder that some things will be gone too soon, and we will wish for them back. Great post for moms today!

  3. Such a touching thought. I love this. I need to spend time with my daughter now. She is 13. She grew up way too quick.

  6. All the things that will never end and those that will end too soon. I really connected with the way to phrased that. I think that that line will come up in my thought a lot this week...

  7. I love this. I have been trying to remember the "things that go away" and choosing them over the things that are always there. Your post is a good reminder of that! Think I'll skip that load of laundry and spend some extra cuddle time with my 4 year old tonight.

  9. Yes! I did the same thing today only I went down to Ashley's and played with the grandkids. I had every intention of working on those things that never end! But I'm so glad that I spent that time! Well worth it๐Ÿ˜
