Kindergarten Kind of Busy

I believe the children are our future,
     Lincoln log fortress!

Teach them well and let them lead the way,
"Purchases" in our store.

Show them all the beauty they possess inside,
A puzzle with a friend.

Give them a sense of pride to make it easier,

Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be.

I heard this song on the radio this morning. It was stuck in my head all day and each time I looked around my room, taking a status of the class glance, I couldn't help but notice that this was the soundtrack to what I was seeing. I love my job!

  1. Awesome connection of the words of the song to the pictures of activities in your class! I'm glad you love your job, I don't know if I could live in kindergarten for a whole year. I bow down to kindergarten teachers.

  3. Love this! I also teach K and think it's the best job! I see it as the "new 1st grade " and it's evolving all the time. I love seeing pictures of your students playing-something you don't see in some of our rooms!
